Flying on siren's isle not account-wide?

i just finished the last quest on my main to unlock flying on Siren’s isle.

now that i have flying, i decided to go there and finish up the ring on my alts as well (since flying makes it alot more bearable).

but i can’t fly on my alts on siren’s isle even though i unlocked it on my main?

Given how relatively easy it is to unlock, I’m not entirely surprised. 5 quests, each which provides a mobility or damage buff to your ring?

Isn’t it an unlock upgrade for the ring itself? Just like the rest of them, you would need to do the quest and keep the ring equipped to take advantage of the perks granted to the ring.

I have the same issue. The problem is that I don’t even have the pink quest on my other characters, so now I have no clue how to unlock flying.

Judging from the responses… most are ambivalent or against flying in all zones… including Siren Isle.

I like to traverse the world quickly and I already utilize certain objects and portals to achieve this, but flight capability would make it less unbearable.

Wait when do you get flying, after the ring is 658? Or whatever?

yes, you can fly after you do the quest this week (assuming you’ve been keeping up every week).

isn’t this expansion supposed to be the ultimate alt-friendly expansion with warbands?

every single pathfinder since WoD have been account-wide.

first of all, flying should not have been time-gated to start and it certainly shouldn’t require individual unlocks on every character on your account.

i will 100% be ignoring Siren’s Isle and the ring on all of my alts.

Don’t you want to relive that riveting quest where you fly around and hit a button once every 2 minutes? I don’t know how I survived that…

that was SO BAD…

it took forever… i was thinking about actually making a forum post about how awful that quest was but then i figured “meh, i’m done with the quest now and never have to do it again…why even bother?”

man was i wrong lmao.

the 658 ring is quite the boost in power (even for a main toon who already has a 639)

Yea but season is over, and only people who would benefit from that are the ones who still do m+ 11 and higher

this ring is powerful enough that blizzard has expressly stated that you will not replace it until u get a myth track ring in season 2.

so unless you plan on getting a myth track ring in week one of the next season, yeah this ring is worth it.

I find it hard to believe the its not replicable by S2 heroic gear , but if your not doing m+ or raids you dont need that ring

After you do it the first time, the quest marker is just yellow. Just go to the same NPC, Didi the Wrench (the goblin) and get the quest.

Fly around on the little airship for 2 minutes, hit the buttons when they tell you, and it’s done.

For me, the NPC does not have the quest. She got nothing. I assume I can still get the upgrade from like a rare drop, but what about getting flying? I am really annoyed.

Are you caught up on all 5 previous quests on that character? If not you’ll need to do the others first.
