You lost half you’re player base since you started with this war on flying back in wod.

The biggest dip prior to WoD was MoP which had flying.(lost 4 million subs.) The population shot back up to 10 million subs for the start of WoD(despite everyone knowing there wouldn’t be flight) only to lose it again because there was nothing to do.

Flying isn’t an issue, the quality of the game itself is.

Sunday was yesterday my friend :slight_smile: as much as everyone would enjoy flying right away, they have their minds set on how and when we get it.

And the revenue they’d make for releasing flying upon max level, it’s not enough for them to change their minds

This is their 2nd part to the “i am too lazy to earn something, gimme!” Post. Part A, as you described was the “ I am too lazy” post, using buzzwords like “timegating.” This thread here is part B, the “gimme!” Post, using correlations pulled out of butts to justify the gimme. Usually it’s all in one post but op broke it up for us.

Flying isn’t content, and it’s not the reason why most players are leaving. Give us flying and people will come back for a couple days and say, “oh yeah, now I remembered why I quit. There’s nothing do to.”

Ion didn’t make the official announcement until May 2015. Up until then we were told 6.1.

EXACTLY THIS. MMO players are a very specific bunch of people. The genre hasn’t really grown or shrunk much in the last decade so much as spread out between a few games.

We are grinders and killers of giant bosses.

The ones who left would have left regardless of flying being in or not. All that flying would have done is get you to the “finish line” quicker for the content that you find enjoyable. You’re the players who come back every patch for 1-2 weeks and bail.

THIS is how they really feel about flight

They want it GONE.
Everything they do, including this ‘compromise’ called pathfinder, is a means to THAT end…no more flight.

Kinda like a car company who decides to ONLY puts standard transmissions in their cars now after having automatic forever…then wondering why their cars dont sell so well anymore.
Not too hard to figure out.

Look level with me, would flying really bring people who are bored with BFA back?

I’m willing to wager the answer is no.

Sweeping changes to unpopular BFA systems and class overhauls, now those would probably bring people back.

You’re moving the goal post.

Plus there is a BIG difference between flight is delay for a few months and we’re not getting flight for the entire xpac and going forward.
