The cost needs to be reduced. At the very least half of what it is now since we have half the time to acquire it through legit farming.
There is a MASSIVE difference in farming(as well as overall gameplay) and all the gold sellers/bots have them, putting an overwhelming advantage in favor of gold sellers/buyers over that of real players following ToS.
Keeping the price as high as it is only benefits those taking part in RMT and it is OBVIOUS it’s being exploited by that crowd. Blizz, please give af about people trying to actually play the game for once, rather than being weasels who promote RMT while gaslighting your players and catering to the RMT crowd…
Got my main their epic flying by hitting 70 then doing every other quest in outland while DEing the quest rewards. That’s on top of all the gold I spent gemming/enchanting my gear.
Getting to 5k gold isn’t that hard if you put the effort in.
Epic flying is a requirement for a condensed schedule if you are to have any hope of farming. It’s clearly FOMO for RMT. It’s not hard to find fresh 70s with keyboard smash names zipping around vacuuming up mats on each layer with epic flying and boosted mount pack mount…
World of RMTcraft: The Burning Credit Cardswipe, Cash Shop Edition
just think of the fulfillment you have have when you actually earn the Flying Mount instead of just logging in and say look we can fly in Outland for free
I started playing Anniversary 25 days before TBC was launched. Hit 60 with 600g to my name days before the Dark Portal opened. With only professions on one char and no bank alt and 0 world quests I had 6.5k at 70. Then at 70 I did all the world quests with my epic flying mount, still relisting auctions and crafting for gold daily and I’m at 8k ready for phase 2. I’ll have over 10k by the time it’s actually out.
I know most RMTers won’t understand but some people actually like playing the game.
Unfortunately the RMTers have empowered the bots, which removes other’s ability to play. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
With quest gold averages for TBC being 10-13 gold, if you sell the reward as well, it would take you ~385 quests(assuming max avg) to just purchase the skill. With avg quest time being 2-5 mins that would be 1,925 mins/60 = ~32 hours of just questing. That doesnt even include flight times.
We are on a condensed schedule. I know not RMTing means many of you would have to get real jobs, but RMT ruins the game and it needs to be countered by eliminating the need for it. There is zero reason RMT bots should be given advantages over legit players.
Everyone else did it. Very little people RMT. Most of the RMT population are whales. Also we get dailys next phase that should help get some gold to you to afford epic flying. You don’t need it in phase 1.
I farmed my epic flying mount just by questing after hitting 70. Poor ppl always complaining and asking for handouts instead of working hard, saving & actually earning it.
