Flying mounts. The War Within Prepatch WoW v11.0 and beyond.
Global toggle option needs development to allow more granular control.
EXAMPLE Scenarios:
1.) Flight form classes, Druid flight for example set via Glyph perhaps, to always be ‘classic Stable / Static flight mode’ while I would leave all other mounts ‘Dynamic flight mode’.
2.) Classes with or without flight forms, have some static option to ‘glyph’ toggle by some mechanism to ALWAYS be classic stable flying allowing all the rest to be on the global toggle.
3.) Other mix and match options whether ‘glyped’ or just a new UI perhaps?
EXAMPLES for controlling:
Controlled via some mechanism of API perhaps?
Mount UI pane to set some mounts to Static versus Dynamic Flying mounts in a drag-and-drop fashion? Or the ‘glyph a mount’ additional Mount Equipment slot option? (Flight forms would still need a glyph or some system to do what ‘normal mounts’ would need to set static classic stable flying.)
Or both, with other options the WoW community, and Dev teams can contextualize here.
This global ‘Dynamic <> Classic “Stable”’ flying toggle all or none is one of the most unwelcomed changes in that it is an absolute unforced error that has been created that is now in need of a proper granularity of selection to solve.
Classes that can fly also need to be included in this granularity.
For consideration and other ideas are always welcome.
Thanks as always Blizzard. I am still enjoying the game. Yet it would be even more enjoyable with more granularity in flying mount - flight mode - selection options.
