no, its NOT "their game’ anymore than my car is KIA’s car.
They want MY $$$ then its MY game. Learn how sales and business work, then talk. -
Asinine. no one is forcing you to breath either, but youre doing it. Blizzard wants to SELL a SERVICE/PRODUCT then making that product something BUYERS WANT is the goal. Clearly you have no understanding of that concept.

Sorry but NO…pathfinder was NOT a compromise. Buy a flippin Websters. A compromise is a deal where BOTH sides negotiate something and NEITHER side gets exactly what it wanted in the beginning.
There were no negotiations. THEY created pathfinder and FORCED it on the player base…NO…it is NOT a compromise. Try harder. -
Blizzard should silence people like you because YOU are the reason this game is losing so many player.s
I’m gonna side with Watcher on this one.
I think adding flying was a big mistake.
I wouldn’t cry any if they removed it for good.
“quite well”
What game are YOU playing, son?
This game hasnt been doing ‘quite well’ in years.
Either they changed their mind or it was a poor choice of words, but I do know from leveling, if you have a quest to go to Outlands or otherwise, an NPC near the portal rooms will teleport you there.
I think they said they were working on UI improvements to make that more clear to players.
Its probably worth noting that the “world” during older expansions that you would fly in was MUCH larger. I’m not really meaning this as a bash on flying though. Just saying that flying was much more necessary in Wrath for instance because there was so much ground to cover.
Like I said, I think flying is only necessary in BFA because BFA is bad and there needs to be something to do “above” the content.
I wouldn’t cry any if they removed it for good.
What else should we expect from a player who attacks handicapped people on this forum.
I agree, remember they took flying away entirely in WOD, it’s between not at and all and no work and a money sink.
Stormpeaks and Icecrown were also designed specifically for flying. That’s why you could not buy flying right away in Wrath.
As you leveled you ascended higher into The North, until you reached Stormpeaks, too perilous to walk through.
Or Icecrown far too deadly to step foot onto with the army of the scourge below.
Flying made sense and felt natural.
Yup your right , game is as strong as ever 100%.
I hope they do review that post.
I’ve always wondered where they get their information from.
They’ve reached a “middle ground” - but how did you come to that conclusion?
Did they just randomly and arbitrarily decide - “yes, things ‘feel’ good now. Not in our stomachs, or based on any data - it just feels good in our knees; so we’ll call it good now.”?
Personally, someone needs to organize. Get someone with a YouTube channel/huge discord or something, and get them to make a post here about having flying unlocked by the first patch of an expansion at the lastest (I already did Pathfinder 1 LET ME FLY, I EARNED IT! Then I would gladly earn Pathfinder 2 for flying in the next zone), and then have the person tell all their followers to come and “like” the post on the forums so it has 1000 or more likes. And have all their followers tweet @WarcraftDevs and tweet that they want flying at the beginning of the expansion not a year into it.
That would definitely get them to take note. Worked for me when I organized the “Make Zandalari Taller” and they listened and did it. You just have to make your actionable and desired feedback louder than the din of the general complaining.

but…idnt it funny how they never seem to be able to figure this crap out BEFORE unleashing it on the player base?
It gets really old having to pay to them my sub $$$ to do their beta testing for them.
I’ve always preferred the idea of a cool epic chain quest that unlocks flying and explains thematically why we couldn’t fly or why we can now. That way they can still gate it, but people coming late in to the game get a cool quest to do instead of having to grind rep on a limit and wait for so long to get back into it. I think that’d be a good middle ground that should probably come around the 2nd raid tier or so, which is more than enough for us to enjoy the world lol.
Ion thinks he’s right and no one can tell him otherwise. If someone tries to…he makes it seem like it’s the player base’s fault in some way if they aren’t happy.

$100 says they base in on player screams.
When the screams die down to X level, we’ve reached a happy equilibrium (in their own minds of course, some players just stop screaming and end up quitting later).

Who’s to say? I think he’s right and this was a decent middle ground. You obviously disagree. (I do think flight is taking too long right now though)
Just saying that because you personally disagree doesn’t flat out make him wrong in this instance (I can’t with a good conscience refer to Ion and generally “right”)
We will have to agree to disagree.

So we need to scream more?

and yet according to some in the other thread, Im supposed to give two squats about Ions personal life and finances. If he cant do the job and make this game so more players WANT To play it, he needs to resign, plain and simple. Him and everyone else involved in these idiotic decisions that are ruining the game.
Frankly Id like my $1500 back I wasted on this game.
If I knew 24 months ago what I know now, Id never have purchased Legion three times.
