Burning Crusade came out in 2007. Literally 13 years ago and we are still not able to fly in Eversong Woods or Azuremyst isle. I know they are not heavy traffic zones but when going over to do a holiday event or run a dungeon for a mount or transmog the zones show their age in a terrible way. I’m not asking for a full remake of the zones (which would be nice) but just allowing flying like everwhere else would make the area fill just a tiny bit better and would encourage at least me to reenter the zone.
Yes you are, because that’s what it will take to make them flyable.
Not saying I don’t agree with you and that SL wouldn’t be a good time to do this, but you ARE asking for a revamp of those zones.
A full remake of the zones wouldn’t be needed just adding in flying would be good. Unlocking the zone to allow flying woudn’t require them to recreate the zones in anyway. Please explain why a full remake of the zones would be the only way to make them flyable?
You’re not understanding.
In order to make flying possible they would have to remake the zones.
It’s not just a switch they can flip and poof, flying.
From an aerial view the zones are incomplete with lots of holes everywhere and 2D models that look awful from anywhere but the ground
I heard they are located on the Outland map, inside the game, so i imagine being able to fly there would cause some issues.
They are on same map. SMC, Exodar, Outland.
If you want to fly, some toys and special items from WoD can make you fly there.
Why flying? I actually prefer the home turf advantage of having to force people to mount and make their exits.
Kinda like the pools of power in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. When people can’t fly or mount? You kinda notice just how reluctant people are to fight if a quick escape (short of hearthing) isn’t a button click away.
I say keep it a no-fly zone.
what does the topic have to do with ED?
GD is ------> that way, the smelly place
