why so dang hard to find out how to get the flying at 60 for most of the areas finally?
its aggravating enough to just delete every character I have and play something else. after reading countless posts and U-tube sites doing what they say and it still doesn’t get me anywhere. going to unlock the campaign needed, I choose the covenant, go to sanctum and unlock covenant abilities, go though the whole playacting quest, “cute”, unlock the first soulbind, go to Oribos and speak to Bolvar and it says choose the "I have already learned of anduins… except Bolvar doesn’t give you that choice or any choice??? even though I’ve spent a lot in this game and have lost all my old characters up to level 110 and now have at least 20 or more from 12 to 60 I’m ready to throw it all in trash…
If it’s your first character running through the content, you don’t get the skip options. You have to play through the quests.
To get flying you’ll need to:
Complete Chapter 2 of your covenant’s campaign.
This will open up the Chains of Domination campaign, which you must play to renown level 44 and complete chapter 4.
Upon completion of chapter 4, you’ll receive the item Memories of the Sunless Skies, which you then use to unlock flying in the base four shadowlands zones.
This will not unlock flying in the Maw, Korthia, or Zerith Mortis.
Zerith Mortis flying is not obtainable yet, and flying is just not allowed in the other 2 zones.
Just as an addition to this, although you can do chapter 1-3 in Korthia after chapter 2 of the covenant story, you can’t access chapter 4 of the Chains of Domination campaign until you complete the entire covenant campaign, so that will be an additional requirement.
