I know flying in Azeroth is supposed to happen in Cataclysm. But, it would bring alot of player base back. I would be very happy personally if I could fly in Azeroth. xD Just a thought

- I don’t see how flying in azeroth would bring anyone back. We don’t even go to azeroth anymore except to use the auction house.
- Go to retail and you can fly anywhere you want.

The terrain is incomplete in old world; that’s why they were more or less forced into a re-vamp to add flying because with out the revamp the world looks kinda bad from the sky.

Negative. There are zones and subzones which are unfinished and not reachable without creative terrain navigation. Cataclysm didn’t just include flying, it also finished, eliminated, or blocked with invisible walls all places that weren’t supposed to be flown over.
Every thing relevant to the game can be run to (foot or mount). It’s not that slow.

You can’t have flying in Azeroth. This is why they did Cataclysm to give us a new Azeroth. There are many areas that we can’t see from foot that are unfinished.
I don’t remember everything about the classic version of Azeroth that was messed up. Blizzard talked a bunch about leading up to Cata in attempt to justify the destruction of the old world. But apparently it wasn’t a realistic amount of work to fix the old world.

just stop they had to break the entire world to accommodate flying for a reason and they have shown the inability to balance simple metrics they do not posses the skillset to affect that change.
