That tells them that we like this, and so we’ll get more of the same.
Sometimes the only way to win is not to play.

I am serious, yes.
You don’t read threads about those things because no one thinks about them. They only think about what is best for them, not the game itself.
If you pretend YOU are world of warcraft, you begin to understand why just placating people and giving them everything they want with as little difficulty as possible is not in your best interest.
We have enough of that IRL.
I also think one of the reasons for pathfinder is Blizzard wants players to experience the quest series.
They put a lot of resources in the quest chains and they are actually a really enjoyable experience in my opinion. If it weren’t for pathfinder I doubt I would have ever done them given a choice.
I think instead of pathfinder the chains in each zone and/or war campaign should be required to unlock the dungeons or raids of zones.
in your opinion, ofc.
Those forums are full with negativity
The danger here is - sure - I don’t care much anymore - eventually I will really not care and just drop my sub. I am pretty sure I am not the only one that feels this way.
Whats a fact? That everything here is an opinion or that Flight made BFA better?
Its a problem cause if they didn’t gate flying it wouldn’t stretch out the Xpac as long hence bugger all content and now flying is the only thing that keeps people subbed and playing sooooooooo they achieved their purpose by making more money. Its a con job if you ask me. I hate what they have done to this ONCE GREAT GAME. It pure frustration now.
HOLY JESUS.
People have had flying for days and I cannot figure out how.
Unshackled rep is by far the most painful rep to grind in all WoW history. I’m currently 10,670/12,000. I’m revered with Rustbolt, so I’m in the last push…
I’ve already done my dailies and such today and I’m moments away from just throwing my computer out the window. WHAT AM I MISSING!?!?!?!?!?!?!
U do the pet legendary pet battles?
I don’t appreciate pet battles.
I have done a few, but most of the legendary pets one shot all my pets and it frustrates me. I just stay away from stuff like that.
Yeah i have never done any till yesterday when a few of my friends had flying and i was about 2k and 1k from revered on each. Then picked up a couple of the reccomended pets boosted them to 25 and got it. I wish i could stay away from it but the rep was too good to pass up.
That’s what you’re missing. Those pet battles are tied to an achievement and can net you 3000 total rep once completed. I have never been a big pet battler myself but 3000 rep was just too good to pass up. I managed to beat it with the few lvl25 pets I already had.
3000??? Wtf how
Yeah, playing WoW without flying is like having a long commute to work. So much of your time spent just trying to get to the thing you need to do. It’s miserable.
And unlocking flying basically proved it. Until yesterday it’d been about 5-6 hours to do all my Naz and Mechanar stuff most days. Unlocked flying (and got a bit lucky on the Mech rares I was after) and suddenly it takes 2-3. And that was with wasting time waking up ancient reefwalkers which I’d never really done before.
I can appreciate the very first part of the expansion not having flying to make us explore through zones and experience quests in a certain way. Leaving breadcumbs and having them easily stumbled upon is much easier when you’re more capable of forcing them along the road. But pathfinder and flying should really come from exploring and exalted with the initial reps. They can even go ahead and lock flying in whatever mid-expansion zones they want behind pathfinder part 2 to make us run through them at first again. But we shouldn’t spend half a year or more in the same zones stuck on the ground.
So much of what is meant to keep us in the game is daily chores. Putting a long commute on those daily chores just makes the tediousness of them shine through all the more. Spending more time on flight paths than playing the game is not a good feature.
The achievement is called Nautical Nuisances of Nazjatar. Every time you beat one of those pets for the first time you get a quest to turn in that gives you 250 rep and there are 12 pets so 250*12=3000rep.
And yet real life is tedious enough as it is. Most people who play in these fantasy worlds play the games to relieve tedium not to add more onto our plates. Life is short people, leave unnecessary stress at work and play games for enjoyment( the reason they are made in the first place) and please stop telling people they are enjoying the games wrong, play the game how you like and let others play it as they like especially in regards to something so trivial as travelling.
good lord calm down, you’ll get it within a few days.
I will … after having it all along … then not having it … then having it again … then not having it.
The tedious “new expac, no flying” thing is one of THE stupidest thing they’ve done in 2 expacs of doing REALLY stupid things.
I may have to keep a thought on this.
