Again… fallacy. You don’t use every single mount.
Again…No.
ok thanks for your useless input.
Pot meet kettle
Only one, the ghost otter mount. Well the early beta did not have the words originally, later they added that steady flight only mounts would be grounded when skyriding was active but considering that only really affects one mount it’s more or less just for consistency.
And yet, we’ve been able to do just that for the last few months, since DF Pathfinder was implemented, and it didn’t break the game. Why is this suddenly an issue, such that Blizzard decided decided to “fix” it?
I use maybe 3-4 mounts max. Lol
Apparently not a “non-issue” since there are so many threads.
I feel like their half measure is the worse part of it.
They want people to commit to one or the other, but instead of putting an actual wall between them they put in a slight but annoying toggle.
If they want a choice make it an hour cooldown. If they don’t want a choice don’t have the toggle at all.
I feel like they did this half measure with BLP for the Fryakk axe that just make it feel worse.
All I’m saying is nobody wants to go through their entire mount catalogue and manually toggle each individual one.
And there is absolutely no reason that some mounts need to be deemed non skyriding like some are suggesting
Ion’s ego will never forgive the player base for disagreeing with his WoD idea to permanently remove flight from WoW (I was one of the ones that cancelled by sub when he made that statement). As long as Ion is working at Blizz, he’ll throw a wrench into flying any time he possibly can. Massively Multiplayer Micro-Aggressions.
They put the switch there so people could use dynamic flight with (almost) any flying mount so people wouldn’t have to use only dragonflight mounts to go fast.
It also added a lot of asked for changes like adding the options for Soar using steady flight and druid flight form using dragonriding.
They aren’t going to change it now. You guys better just start dealing with it. With all the other issues going on in the game a 5 sec toggle is the dumbest thing to complain about.
Calling out Devs is against CoC. reported.
That’s the fallacy.
It is a non-issue.
Multiple threads, all opened by the same people.
WoW has 4,6 million subscribers. Less than 100 people are complaining. Less than hundred real people (their warbands don’t count towards to real people).
Since they can’t really muster real people to provide feedback, the people (same) complaining resort to alt posting multiple threads, and people like you, elevate this non-issue with the fallacy of “multiple threads”.
Definitely true. He’s still angry about the WoD debacle.
Maybe true but the fastest option was to have a fast way to swap between. So you could dynamic fly to a spot, quickly swap and fly to a tricky landing.
Also you are completely ignoring people who have disabilities or have motion sickness. They can’t use dynamic flying in a lot of places.
You are ignoring the point of the op a bit here. They are saying have both available quickly will make more people use less time while allowing them to play the way they can or enjoy. Putting a pointless time gate in there makes no sense for making it better. It is a downgrade on speed because it makes options for what how you get somewhere slower. Maybe you don’t do it the most efficient way, but that is normal for humans.
Then press the dragon riding button that turns it into steady flying for a little bit.
it used to be “SLAP IN THE FACE” and then it was “not fun” for a while. now it’s “Disrespect player time”.
The thing is, people who have trouble with dragon riding are not the people swapping back and forth between the two every 20 seconds. They’re probably just using steady flight which has been flat buffed and not only by having the speed increased a little bit, but also being able to use it on dragonflight mounts which were previously Dragon riding only.
Please don’t try and say I’m ignoring people with disabilities when that was not part of the discussion in the slightest. The people complaining are not the people with accessibility issues involving dragon riding.
