They are out in force for sure, the Arcane Crystal market on my server has been crashing down to the 30g per range atm. If you /who all of the sellers they are unguilded human mages in Zul’Gurub. It’s pretty easy to guess they are in there just flying hacking. When you actually run over and look you’ll see piles of mages who have hit lockout attempting to run in every few seconds in perfect intervals.

It’s actually pathetic the lack of interest blizzard has in banning them.
They could pay someone close to minimum wage to JUST watch ZG/AQ20 and that would remove 1000’s of bots. Just 1 person could ban almost every single instance botter within a week. They just don’t want to commit any resources to do so because a Sub is a Sub.

So, what your telling us is, you bot.

Stupid response. The OP was saying to stop enforcing the “laws” in waves.

Translation: ban immediately instead of every 6 months.

Totally agree, if it was instant it makes better sense and people would lose interest. even professional botters would become discouraged

Ban waves happen every week.

You’ll never get rid of bots without introducing tokens. So please stop complaining.

I agree OP.

The strategy of doing ban waves 1-3 times per year is clearly not working. This needs to be a constant effort.

Ban waves happen weekly.

Here’s a recent quote from Vrakthris on the CS forums:

I wish I could show folks the emails that I see weekly, of ban waves that happen as well as the efforts overall for prevention, detection, etc… There are also those that wouldn’t believe the evidence even if it was provided.

Well that’s good to hear.

They’re right, though.

I do not believe them.

Do you report cheaters? I’ve been getting mail from Blizzard in-game thanking me for reporting cheaters. I reported a bot guild on my Retail server and a few days later, I got the mail saying they took action.

That guild was online 24/7 full of Druids in the Iron Docks. I checked a couple times since then and they have not been back online.

I actually never encounter them. I think it’s a server thing. I think it’s only the larger servers that have these kind of botting problems.

I could well be wrong.

When I do, yes, I do report them immediately.

I mean, who cares at this point, game is almost over, less real people out there farming mats anymore. let the bots pump out mats for who ever hasn’t quit after killing kt once

Well, if I cant make enough gold per week just to buy pots for raids, I will be ending my classic experience way earlier then expected. I just dont have a choice, unless I join the botting club…had a person in discord just yesterday recommending a certain bot software. I was like…wow… Would rather quit the game then cheat. But thats just me.

Pots for raids aren’t a necessity…

Same. It’s amazing what a non-bot player can do if they learn the tricks of the trade, dedicate themselves to it, and stay focused.

I suppose I could be lazy and shove all the responsibility on the healers like you seem to do. But thats not my style.

Your Rank 292978
My Rank 42219

see the difference? I do (MC ranking) (its the only ranking you have…)

Ok then quit complaining and farm gold for pots?
