Flying BfA predicament

So I got myself into a bit of a pickle and would like opinions.

In 8.1 I subbed back to wow. As I progressed on my toon I completed roughly 75% of the Pathfinder pt 1 requirements.

Then I re-rolled in 8.2 because I was unhappy with the direction this company went with that spec and I wasn’t having fun with it anymore.

I am enjoying this new main but I certainly don’t want to re-do the grind for pathfinder on it, and I despise the previous spec and never want to play that character again at all (not in BfA at least).

I didn’t play WoD, did play legion but never did pathfinder, therefore I never flew, so I kind of already expected to never fly in BfA, but I see people posting about how awesome it is and how it makes the game so much more fun in every way.

Basically I want to know if others have been in this situation and what did you do. If not, and you were in my situation, what would you do?

don’t take advice from people who pay for something they find ‘tedious’ without being able to skip the whole game (terrain, mobs, etc)

Lol

The pathfinder grind takes maybe like 2 weeks to finish it’s ain’t hard

I’d finish it on the character you hate. Then you can enjoy your main even more. Make sure you only do what’s absolutely necessary though.

Starting from zero? For time-gated reputations for which the only way to earn rep is WQ’s?

Flying is nice, but if it was completely removed, I wouldn’t mind all that much.

The grinds themselves aren’t all that bad. I got p2 done in a couple weeks of casual questing. If you decide to do it, you might want to finish up p1 on your other character, then do p2 on your new main. It’ll save you a little time.

I’m surprised you have pathfinder. That’d make you about the biggest hypocrite around.

Ok cool I didn’t know you could do pt 1 on one character then pt2 on another to complete all the requirements. I might do that thanks.

Can we stop pretending that clearing the entire map in the two new zones each day for two weeks is “casual questing”?

OP, I agree with the person who said finish up part 1 on your old toon, and work on part 2 with your new toon. Especially if your old toon has a good chunk of rep completed.

I’m not pretending anything. I didn’t clear the map. I spent about 30-40 minutes in each zone, skipped the quests that I thought were too much trouble, and didn’t bother with fishing or pet battles. I also missed a few days in those two weeks due to real life commitments. What exactly do you define as casual, if not that?

After reading all the complaints in gd, I was actually surprised at how quickly it went.

Yeah he does and still a decent ilvl at 413

Your achievements show you taking 20 days from the day you explored naz until pathfinder2.

It took me 29 days.

If only achievements could track when you leave town on vacation. Bravo, detective.
