I see many paladin doing AOE farming with Flurry Axe. Why not Trash blade instead?
Flurry axe attacks more quickly, thus can give you more JoL or JoW procs. It has the same proc rate (ish) as thrash blade, but just lands attacks far more often.
Because of that you’ll get more out of seals like SoR scaling off of your spell damage as well.
There’s nothing wrong with thrash blade though, dont feel like you have to buy a flurry axe.
SoR hits the same whether you’re using a 2.6 or a 1.6 speed weapon.
Makes more sense to use a weapon that will proc it more often.
Thrash Blade is only, at best, a 2% proc chance. It’s also very slow. Neither weapon has an ICD, so Flurry Axe will net more returns.
