Fluid form talent > cat form > skull bash

FLUID FORM does NOT auto-swap me into Cat form to use SKULL BASH.
Is this “AS INTENDED” or should I believe what the talent tool tip reads?

Are you in range? It’s only a 13 yard range or so…if you are out of range the spell will just not cast.

Switches you into cat form when using skull bash and it’s now usable out of cat form. Capeesh? Ah maybe oor idk works fine for me

Well maybe it’s an addon?
Specced as Balance, I don’t even see a Skull Bash option to add to the action bar…

Because balance druid uses solar beam.

Try understanding the class?

It cannot even take Skull Bash.

Trying to understand the Class, is why I reached out to the community.
If you can’t say something helpful, or of substance, SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.

This is what the FLUID FORM TALENT reads:

Skull Bash can be used in ANY FORM and shifts you into Cat form, if necessary.

Now, am i crazy to believe that as a Moonkin, I shouldn’t expect to have a Skull Bash interrupt at my disposal?

Yes, any form. including moonkin form.

It does not say you will have access to skull bash (as a spec.)

Resto druid for example can be in moonkin form, and use skull bash.

You can, you just gotta talent into skull bash first. Let us know when you find a way to do that as a balance druid

Talents will frequently say they buff an ability. If you didn’t take that ability in the first place then you don’t get that benefit.

They do sometimes change the tooltips per spec to account for what is available.

While not available I’d say this was an oversight.

which i hate cause on my priest, im not using a hero talent because i didn’t talent into life-grip.

i hope they re-do hero talents or replace with something else

They certainly will redo hero talents next expansion but also… you could take the other choice on that talent node.

For other cases where you gain a buff to x, y, and z, but didn’t talent z then there’s still the option to take that for the partial benefit or skip it. Frost DK has a bunch of those and it’s still a dps gain.

Here’s the whole description:

It means that if you have those abilities, then that’s how they’ll work. It does not mean the talent gives you those abilities.
