This just happened to me also. Opened my first Unshackled paragon chest, received the Flopping Fish toy, but no credit in the achieve.

Presumably the unusual way the toy is given to you (autolooted from the chest) by-passes the usual check to see you obtained something.

You can buy the pets off the AH and they still count…

I looted the Flopping Fish from the paragon chest, and yes it didn’t count for me as well.

Exactly my point. When you buy something from the AH, it goes to your mailbox and then you open the mail and “loot it” into your bags. That triggers the check that you own that now.

When you open a paragon box there is no loot window, you don’t click on things to take them out nor can you open it to just see what is in there. The contents are just magically created in your bags. And I think this process may skip the “I own it now” check.

Same I just got this from paragon cache and didnt get credit. It needs to be counted either way you get it.

I also had this happen as well. Received the toy in paragon cache and didn’t get credit.

Just wanted to chime in and say the same for me: got the toy with my first box, got no achieve credit. Sent a bug report in game.

Looks like the hotfix for this either isn’t live or doesn’t fix people who already looted and learned it.

I had to open a ticket to get mine fixed, the Gm was more then willing to fix it for me.
