Floor configuration bug

Since today’s maintenance, upon instancing into house, all my floors are defaulting to display as Folk Hardwood regardless of what the customization is set to.

Seems very similar to the wall config bug (thankfully fixed as of today) in that the user needs to update the setting each time the load into the house for it to display properly.

Well here we go again

Don’t worry they will fix that too… why is the ceiling changing?

Select another floor type then go back in and it will reset. Worked for me with mosiac

It is acting just like the wall bug.

I fixed several of the floors, left, came back, and it was showing the folk hardwood again.

What sort of jank-(butt) code causes this crap?

Problem is you have to perform the reset every single time you load into your house, which becomes really frustrating if you have more than like five rooms.

fwiw on the Horde side the floor is reverting to Rugged Wood, so seems the rooms are taking on the appearance of their default state.

Ceilings are thankfully unaffected… for now…

For now…

Yep all my Bel’ameth floors reset to default every time I rezone my house. Have to then change every room off of bel’ameth hardwood, then back onto bel’ameth hardwood… only to leave my house, come back inside and it’s all reset again. Sigh.

Time to spam the bug reports, team.

In game, and in the subforum here.

Ok thanks for info I relogged u are right it resets to rugged wood again.

I’m thinking it will be hotfixed but personally glad house is mostly intact. I think they course corrected pretty well.

It took from beta until tonight to fix this identical bug with walls…

I’m hoping so too.

The wall bug took ~2 months for them to fix, but this one is way more visible than that one was, so maybe they’ll get on it sooner?

Why would we think it will be hotfixed?

Almost the same bug has been affecting walls, door frames, etc for MONTHS.

E: Well what do you know, it looks like the wall bug is fixed? For now?

This better be false!

I just had my generic floors redone!

If they are gone I WILL be expecting compensation. I paid like 3 grand for this and now the floor is gone?!

I’d stamp my feet but there’s nothing to stamp on!

Now we’ll have to wait another 3 months for this bug to be fixed, only for a new bug to appear. This game has truly become a joke.

i don’t think this is what the boss man meant by “floor it”

Aw, beans. I thought it was good, but my floors switched back too.

I’m not waiting 3 months again like with the stairs/walls. If they don’t fix it by Tuesday, I am keeping my house locked and will likely be done with housing.

I have poured hours into designing my Horde house, and just got done pouring even more into my Alliance side house. As of today, both houses feel ruined, not just by the floor bug, but the Black Obsidian dye is no longer black on furniture trim; it is showing silver.

Do I want to get into the fact that I still can not buy additional copies of the Diablo 4 decor?

Yes, this is happening to me as well. I am trying to change my floors to anything other than folk hardwood, as soon as I leave the room, it defaults to folk hardwood. Major bug.

I liked this bug more when it was on walls and didn’t affect me personally.
