Floating combat text size

Is there no way besides installing an add on that I can change the font size of damage and healing numbers? It’s way to big and breaks immersion with big AOE at times.

Do yourself a favor and turn that rubbish off. Already way too much bloat in the game to have that stuff jumping all over :joy::joy:

How do you turn it off? There is nothing in settings anymore.

Uncheck scrolling combat text for self

Think that should do it

Thanks, I have tired that, it just removes the numbers near your character. All the rest still go crazy all over the screen.

Ah sry mate. I don’t have any of it. Maybe there’s another setting or something else

The settings panel in Advanced Interface Options should let you disable whatever floating text you want.

Also, you can disable the addon once you’ve chosen your preferred settings. It doesn’t need to run all the time for them to stick.

To disable floating combat text in World of Warcraft, you can use the following console commands:

  • /console floatingCombatTextCombatDamage 0: (disables combat damage text)
  • /console floatingCombatTextCombatHealing 0: (disables combat healing text)
  • /console floatingCombatTextPetMeleeDamage 0: (disables pet melee damage text)
  • /console floatingCombatTextPetSpellDamage 0: (disables pet spell damage text)
  • /console floatingCombatTextCombatLogPeriodicSpells 0: (disables periodic damage text)

And if you want to enable just make the 0 a 1 .

I will add that I find it funny how they want to get rid of some addons, but they can’t even add this simple crap to the BASIC UI already…
