Allow all mogging for everyone except class tier.
The only restrictions that should remain…
Tier gear(not counting off pieces and colors), faction, heritage that’s it

Would no be ok?
No, it’s a must “yes”
To each their own but my vote will always be a no.
Class identity should matter in an RPG.
The only transmog change I think they need to make is transmog to a slot. Meaning that someone can put a transmog on and it will stay no matter what you have equipped.
I like ESO dress up allows you to use all armor types for appearances, but I end up going with the skimpiest appearances on all my female characters.
I’m on board, there’s more than enough universal outfits that are shared anyway that it wouldn’t matter and it’s basically clothes so anyone should be able to wear anything basically.
There’s too much homogeneity among classes already. We can at least preserve armor type differences.
Im pretty torn on this actually. On one hand a lot of tier is shared anyways just from raid drops its to the point a lot of tiers have almost full sets on other classes. On the other it does feel a bridge to far with more exclusive rewards like elite sets.
This 100% is great. They can even stealth charge the transmog fee, just to save having to manually do it everytime.

Jesus Christ man…are we all even playing the same game in here? LMAO
these are PLATE wearing DEATH KNIGHTS in PLATE Appearances…lmao
https://imgur.com/a/ToJwu5t
and IF you will notice most of those are CLASSIC era mogs, lmao…so this class ID you all keep railing on about was NEVER an absolute…EVER.
Agreed, but by necessity that would include Tier set lookalike pieces (which I would be fine with even though it would break some of my sets).
I would also accept the ability to transmog at least one slot with a different armor type. Too many times I’ve found a perfect belt or shoulders that are from a non-plate armor type.
thank frikking Odin I saved this…lmao
Figured we’d see the same LAME arguments sooner or later lol
Heres a PRIEST CLOTH set, lol
Seriously NOT clothy looking to me
same cloth set, different color
More cloth that looks more plate than some plate sets do…lol
MAGE CLOTH…doesnt look like cloth to me…looks like a mage in PLATE
more cloth that doesnt look like cloth
HERE IS PLATE…that looks no more plate than any of the above.
AND HERES PLATE…that looks more like mail armor, lol
guess my immersion is busted. lol
NO ONE HERE is going around checking class versus mogs and every one here KNOWS it.
Stop with this ‘muh immersion’ crap…thanks
==============================
This is “plate”…lmao… your ‘immersion’ was broken back in classic, lol
Im not Einstein but those dont LOOK like PLATE to me. lol
.
see my post above, …you never had armor type differences in ANY absolute fashion
For god sake, its almost as if youve never played a mail armor class…literally little to none of the MAIL sets actually LOOK LIKE real mail armor.
Read what I said - preserve armor type differences. IE: the four armor types and their unique appearances. There are enough examples where each armor type has a few selections that “appear” like a different armor type, that’s enough.
We don’t need to drive this game to the point where everyone is running around in their underwear with hidden pants weapons and offhands.
I dont need to read what you said again, son.
Opening up the mogs for MOG FARMERs ABSOLUTELY AFFECTS YOUR GAME IN NO WAY IMAGINABLE…period.
What MY character looks like literally ISNT your business or concern…and if you are literally running around checking mogs to class in game…I suggest a professional to help get that fixed.
ZERO valid reason not to open up all mogs to all classes
As as a RPer I wouldn’t remind the locks being removed. Loads of times I have cool ideas the armor and class restrictions block. With how everyone is dressed like a super-hero for several expansions now, I stopped caring about immersion around the end of Legion.
Mhmm, but mogging naked is okay?
Being a naked rogue is okay, but a hunger in cloth mog is blasphemy?
