Need to be able to save more than 2000.
Especially when you don’t wanna waste crests updating terrible drops.
Shouldn’t be a cap on flightstones

What I wanna know is why did they have to cleanse our flightstones from season two if season three are exactly the same as what we had?

I threw a few of mine at a Gnome. They sure made him Fly. You are just using them wrong

Crests can only be wasted if you obtain a higher-power item for that same slot, which is why you generally would wait until you get a Hero or Myth path item before upgrading it if you are intending on getting one soon. If you are approaching caps, any crests spent on a slot will be permanently counted as a threshold for that slot.
Example: You get a Champion chestpiece. You spend crests to upgrade it to 8/8. Any chest piece you get after that can be upgraded to Champion 8/8 ilvl without spending any crests so the only way the crests would be ‘wasted’ is if you obtained a Hero 4/6 or higher item as a drop.
Spend the stones, get those upgrades up, if you hold on out of fear of wasting them, you’d end up wasting them by not using them.
