Title. Flightstones were wiped to 0 without warning at 10pm Pacific Daylight on 4/22, the day before S4 maintenance was due to go live. So no one can do any of the last-minute upgrading of gear to get S3 appearances that should still be obtainable, because any stockpiled flightstones you should have access to are gone.
S3 gear is also showing their upgrade track greyed out already. It can still be upgraded, it looks like, unlike S2 gear, except that no one has any flightstones to do it.
I noticed that as well. Major bummer 
One of the best activities of the last day of the season is buying things with saved up currencies.
ya I’m super upset that I didn’t get warned or anything and now I have crests left, and BiS items at 10/12 or whatever the deal is. I didn’t get to do my last minute upgrades.
I am extremely upset by this. I’ve been working super hard on my alts to get them ready for next season. Had a bunch of stuff to upgrade and buy. And now they are all gone. @blizzard not happy! why was there no warning
i came here to find this out , ive been working all week saving to upgrade my lowest toons with the gear from the chest , but no more flightstones , kinda lame , no gold or any exchange , nothing .
I just came here to complain about the same thing. Looks like the work experience staff member got excited to press a button early. Glad I have cancelled my on going sub
Actually, we’ve been warned 20 days ago:
Dragonflight Season 3 will be ending April 22 at 10:00 p.m. PDT, the night before the regularly scheduled maintenance, with Dragonflight Season 4 beginning immediately following on April 23.
No, we weren’t. There’s not a single mention of “crest” or “flightstone” in that entire article.
So I was logged in at 10pm PDT yesterday and noticed that my Season 3 items went grey, saying they couldn’t be upgraded. But since I was logged in, my crests and flightstones were still there. As it happens, I was doing final upgrades on a few items.
So if you logged in after 10pm PDT your crests and flightstones were just summarily wiped out? That’s really bad.
I don’t understand at all why we can’t continue to upgrade old gear with old crests and flightstones. Every season we get new crests (eg Shadowflame, Dreaming). Just create new Flightstones and let people upgrade their old stuff. What does Blizzard lose by letting people do this?
The end of the season needs to be better communicated and more graceful.
Yet they still have quests that require them.
