You need to address this right now
When you fly in a group or log or get dced and are removed from party, apparently your layering tech malfunctions.
This happened to me tonight before mc raid and I logged in dead on the floor via a flight path at 60.
Granted, because of your incompetence I am done with HC, I had my fun, you’ll need to fix this for people who are more attached to their toons than I am.
It was fun while it lasted but a death like that? nty, there is no “go agane”.

I don’t think you can know if it’s layering related unless you had people experiment and test out a way to consistently get it to happen.
Even in oldschool WoW before sharding or layering existed there was a rare bug where you could log back in on a flight path and fall to your death.

Hc servers are basically just som2 waiting room. Got to 60 just to say i did but like a lot of people if i die to something like a dc im def not going again and every day the pop will get lower from people who just wanted fresh servers more then anything else.
The lack of available tanks makes it painfull at 60 to do anything. Rolled heals thinking id find groups but nope none are there. The few tanks who make it to cap dont want to pug. So hc is exactly what it said it was going to be leveling servers. Could have just kept the addon on era servers which is the rule set “true hardcore” players wanted anyways.
good. frankly we don’t need these types of players here. you don’t have that spunk, that attitude that lets you shrug off dying to a DC or bug. in short, you’re not hardcore
Nobody cares how hard core you think you are no matter how many times you like to say it on these forums. Just enjoy your leveling server where you can hamster on a wheel do the same quests for the 1000th time as you get your 50th character to cap level then go great now i can do it again!
Point still remains could have just done that on era servers without creating new ones.
I think a good chunk of people were doing death = appeal on bb, much easier to have equal accountability on official and it is good marketing / hype for the game.

yes, i think the appeal issue was overblown, but it is still a net benefit to know 100% that everyone you see running around has never died once
The same way it effects everyone. They spend time and resources on it. Which im 100% fine with but the people here on the forums complain about how the hc they got is not real hc because they wanted a copy paste of the addon they already had.
Not everyone was playing by the same rules - using an addon. You don’t like HC. We get it. I don’t like retail. But I don’t go on the retail forums and tell everyone that retail sucks.
The toon you’re lvling isn’t your main. The bank alt you funnel everything to is your main. Once you get in that mindset, death doesn’t sting nearly as much.
