Does anyone else prefer steady flight over skyriding? I wish there was a way to set a flight style without having to activate it every time.

It depends on what I’m doing tbh, skyriding for actually going places or steady if just farming/questing

I use skyriding almost exclusively. It’s just faster and modern. I like to hover in Dracthyr form in Dornogal.
Old flight just feels so outdated.
Not I. Took me an entire expansion to learn dynamic flying, but I don’t use anything else.
Skyriding is not only faster, but funner.
Steady Flight is nice when you wanna afk or chill tho.

Depends. I use steady 90% of the time. But if I have a distance, then it’s skyriding. But thats why they are both there
Any time I might feel like using steady flight, I usually just find a flight path and use that instead honestly.
Steady flight is too slow now by comparison.
They each have their place. For short hops, the old style is better but if you need to book across a continent then Dragon Riding is better.
Old Style flying is like a helicopter.
Dragon flying is like an airplane.
I wish you could swap into steady whenever you want while flying, but to swap back you have to land and do the cast. that would be ideal for me.
i only use steady flight when i want to be EXTREMELY lazy. ain’t got no time to do things the right way.

The only thing I use the OG flight for anymore is when I’m trying to look for something specific, or camp a rare spawn. Otherwise, there’s basically no reason for me not to be using dynamic.
