If I have steady flight selected for flight style, and then queue and return from a time walking dungeon, then my flight style magically changes back to skyriding but the Switch Flight Style icon still shows Steady Flight.

I am having the same issue on my Druid, came here to report it.
Its not just timewalking, its anything using group finder: timewalking, direbrew, bgs, lfr.
Super annoying if I’m hovering when I join. I leave the dungeon and suddenly I’m falling and have to land and reset my flight style.
I agree. Automatically reverting to skyriding is a bad ides. Is there any purpose to this?

Still an issue I’m experiencing. After every dungeon I have to manually switch back to steady flying.
And it just happened also after doing a pet battle for the current pet battle weekly. Seriously, what is the issue here, why cant this be fixed?
This is happening to me as well, and frankly it’s getting quite frustrating that Blizzard seems to have no desire to fix the myriad of annoying bugs like this. Having to switch back to steady flight, which I prefer, every single time I get out of an instance…
I only do old content. But every time I travel to Dornogal my flight type is reset and stays reset until I change it back when I get out of the zone. I think they’re doing it to piss off people who prefer normal flying.
It’s doing for LFRs, and BGs too for me.
I noticed it during the last TW event and it is happening again. For me, it is happening as part of the removal of buffs when you leave group content. Along with any group buffs I have been given and my own buffs (which is annoying) the game is removing the “buff” of flying style. So I am assuming that their dragon flying is the default that my characters revert to when the “buff” is removed. Yet another glitch/bug that they will ignore.
Yes! I was just doing this on my rogue alt and I had to remember to reapply poisons every time I got back into the dungeon because everything was resetting. Really obnoxious!

Same happening here as well.
I decided to change from skyriding since I get disconnected everytime, only to find this other bug. Basically I can’t fly without facing a handful of bugs.
