Flight School: Up and Away! … when jumping between flowers, I am falling right through the middle of these flower petals and getting kicked back to the start.
Made the quest completely impossible to complete.

The same keep falling thru… and why do i have to leave the wow support to go to this support site outside of the game to report issue. it is very very very frustrating. why have support in game when just gives you a run around. should just have the link just go direct to web site to report issues. Do you like frustrating your customers ?

I don’t know why blizzard keeps making these type of quests, they just can’t ever seem to get it right, they had the same issues with world quests in legion with kirin tor, gotta fel rush through the portals to each platform with checkpoints which was at least nice, so you didn’t have to get punished and sent back to the start of the quest for their mistakes, but now it’s just completely overlooked, honestly I’d just save yourself the time, and when you see the WQ up and available, ignore it as best you can, it’ll just frustrate you…
In one of the hot fix blue post it was listed that the clouds are now more responsive…nope.
World Quests
- The clouds are now more reliable during the Bastion world quest “Flight School: Up and Away!”
Other than the swear words, I completely agree.
Let’s not release content that is not ready; we are not paying to be beta testers.
I strongly recommend that you keep trying because I had the same issue about two or three times but was still able to complete the quest in the end.

I am having the same problem. Very annoying when trying to get your quests done.

I am not having any problem. Either you have addon that is causing issue or you have latency issue. Not Blizzard problem if I can do it easily.
Nope, you were lucky. Sometimes the flowers simply allow you to fall through. I had to do it about two or three times, as I had said above, to get lucky.
So, again, people, don’t give up. Keep trying (it shouldn’t take very long) and you’ll reach the helipad.
I don’t think it’s luck. I’ve done various Bastion flower hopping quest and only fell through once. I had probably about 20 or so successful attempts.
Maybe latency is an issue? I usually have 25ms home/world
This quest is still bugged. Even when not in prime time, even when the boss isn’t in bastion, I spend a good portion of my time having to redo this quest over and over or try tiny tweaks of character position to just to not fall through the petals. This is pretty unfun gameplay.
Yesterday, I do this quest and it is Bug. Now my character is struck and always disconnect and announce wow51900319 when logging. I love Wow very much, but if until next 7 days, my character still struck, i think i find another game
