Flight Point Travel Slowed?

Is it just me, or has travel via FP slowed significantly since DF?

i have no idea. i only take a FP if I’m afking and I’ll be at my destination when I come back either way. I don’t think it’s slower, i think it just feels slower because dragon flying is fast and the world is big.

Yeah I’ve taken maybe two flight paths the whole expansion.

They have not slowed. I’ve used them a ton this whole expansion so I don’t have to look at an ugly mount.

Perception change, you travel faster with dragonflight so when using a flight path it feels slow. It’s all about relativity.

Well, perhaps… except that I’ve been leveling alts outside of DF all this time as well… and also farming for stuff like reps and mogs elsewhere.

It seems to me that there has been a precipitous increase in real travel time between FPs.

I can’t say I’ve felt slower on Flight Paths, but as others have said, I don’t take them very often. And when I do, it’s usually because I expressly intend to not pay attention to the game for a few minutes anyway.

It seems the same speed b/c normal flying feels super slow in the isles.

These zones feel 2x as big as our old zones.

I have an addon that has the times of flights. Nothing changed.

Aww, no. You’re fine. It’s easy to have these things seem different after so many different flying types and whatnot. :dracthyr_heart:

No, Dragonriding is just much faster than old flying so you have a new baseline to compare flight paths to.

No Problem sighs in delight , like in LOTRO, when you’re starting out, the ride times are so long you can kick back, turn off ui and enjoy sights as you read a book or your quest log.
In the end though, DF Flight Points ain’t that long. Valdrakken to that one flightpoint next to the Dream Portal is not even 5 minutes. Can’t even finish two pages of the lord of the rings on that flight! Ugh!
