Pretty sure the Flight Paths (like the actual pathing) is coded into the expansion (or lack of one in the case of Vanilla). Meaning it’s part of the world. So an update to SoD’s flight pathing would result in Era/HC having their flight pathings changed.
So even though the NPC and quadruped-bald-eagle / winged-lion-cat (I will intentionally use these much funnier names) ‘object’ could be easily set to spawn for those on the SoD ‘quest’ (they probably use a hidden quest to flag us as SoD Characters to setup what to spawn on the Era Client). They’d have to alter the paths, which are not able to be set to ‘show up’/‘work’ only for SoD Characters.

Ugh man I know. Alliance needs to step it up. Horde has outposts all through the Eastern Kingdoms. The only ones the Alliance has on Kalimdor are smaller camps or Night Elf towns that existed before they joined the Alliance.

Some of the FPs and spirit healer placements suck, but idk how this effects the other servers running on the same game client

I wasn’t asking for more Flight Points, just to fix some of the Paths. WTF with the retail BS? Running would take even longer, so not going to do that, but having a bird fly to another zone, turn around, fly back through the original zone, then go into the 3rd zone I’m actually heading to, is just stupid.

They should randomize the flight paths so you’ll never know where you will end up. It would really enhance the feeling of adventure.

It kind of is though. It’s the classic world, classic modifiers, classic behavior, classic mobs, classic quests, spell ids, items, etc. with some additions, mostly via runes, but also the entire STV Bloodmoon Event, the Ashenvale “PVP” event, incursions, and BFD/Gnomeregan/ST raids.
It’s Classic with some modifications. Imagine your mom puts some bedazzle on your jeans and then says, “These are not your jeans.” OK mom, but I see through the bedazzling.
Anyway, regardless of that, if someone wants to ask for more flight paths, it’s their prerogative to ask for more flight paths.
