They won't do it because they sell a 10k item for each continent so your alts can discover all the FPs.

I didn't buy it. But it's a successful gold sink.

Not a very good gold sink. It's an account wide toy item.

I bought it because 10k is chump change compared to being able to fly, instead of run/mount, to places I want to quest.

Heirloom vendor. You'll need to buy for Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdor so a total of 20k,.

They are releasing something similar for BFA. I think it's in 8.1 but I'm too lazy to confirm.

I'm assuming you're talking about the fps in the opposite faction's territory? In 8.1 the flight paths will be account wide. They already are account wide technically as you don't need to do the outpost missions to get them, you just have to actually travel to them and click on the flight master.

Yeah: no. The adventure of the gane is watered out enough as it is. There's already flight paths designated on the map we dont need more account wide crap.

So long as its it's not xmog nothing should be account wide.
