Can’t find this on any of the WoW wiki sights. Leveling this alt, and flying from Redridge to Ironforge costs me 25 silver, but my friend who is with me only costs 2 silver 50 copper.

At least 1 of those figures must be wrong.
The 25s sounds very high. You could take a look at the route the flight will take you. Perhaps you’re missing a key flight point and have to take a longer route?
Being NE did you perhaps forget to pick up SW?
Either way I’d have to log on later in order to check.
That said, there are 2 possible discounts that could apply totalling up to 20%
- If you achieve rank 3 in PvP you get a 10% discount.
- If you are honured with the faction of the flight master at point of departure, you also get 10% discount.
Nevermind, I figured it out. I was bored and got the flight points in Burning Steps and Searing gorge, which changed the route from Lakeshire to IF and completely screwed the costs.
Now I have to fly to SW first, then fly to IF lol
At first it went from Lakeshire - Stormwind - IF , now it goes Lakeshire - Burning Stepps - Searing Gorge - IF
