On a flight from Winterspring to Silithus, I figured I’d go grab some food/drink. Come back to my character alive, but sitting in the Westfall graveyard near Sentinel Hill. Unfortunately, I was not at my desk to witness the teleportation. Didn’t have any durability hit or anything, but it sure did put a dent in my time to get back to Silithus.
Westfall server (related?), Alliance, lvl 59 hunter.
And then I witnessed it happening while attempting to get back to Silithus. After flying through Ungoro, I got to the entrance to Silithus and the loading screen came up, loaded, and blip, back in the Westfall GY.
WTF?
Well, a bit of googling on the internet machine, I found out why “Westfall Graveyard”. Apparently that’s 0,0. But the “why is a lvl 59 being punted out of Silithus?” question remains.
In the hopes of someone contributing some info:
Zoning in with my 63 warlock worked fine. Strangely, he was missing the flight master even though he has been there before. However flying to Ungoro and riding into Silithus allowed me to re-acquire the flight point.
59 hunter continues to be punted to Westfall GY even with the “Taking Back Silithus” quest from Ironforge.
