Any other Dracthyr players excited for finally being able to have dragon flying. We should have a mass flight on both main continents. Like from Hyjal to Uldum and Plaguelands to stranglethorn.
Any interest in doing something like this ?

We should definitely do something fun to celebrate, it’s the one thing I wanted since I saw the soar racial. I’m glad they made the right move and did it.
Finally they learned to use their wings! They grow up so fast!

Imagine if the Drac(right thurr right)thyr got all of the abilities for Dragon Riding.
Including the one that turns a friend into a whelp that follows along after you for carrying them around the zones of the Dragon Isles.
Except for the Dracthyr, its them grabbing you with their feet and just zoom. Better yet, your character has both their hands up and it looks like you’re hanging onto their feet/talons for dear life as they’re flying around.

They said we would be getting all the dragon riding perks along with it and I really hope the whelp carry on thing stays too. It’s going to be so cool to be my own mount. I can’t wait for the servers to come back up

Actually canonically had this conversation with a dracthyr. It was decided the best way would be a bridal carry, since sitting on their back would result in getting buffeted in the face by both their wings. If in a pinch, the way dracthyr snag a party member via Rescue (under the armpits) is also a decent though uncomfortable position for long flights.
That said, if the dracthyr didn’t like the person very much, I could definitely see them carrying someone by their feet, screaming the whole way.
