Flight Master’s Whistle was an item that took you to the nearest Flight Path.
I think it started either in WoD or Legion.

Legion! It was useful back then. I’m not sure it would work well for Dragon Isles with how huge the place is.

Yeah i really loved the whistle, still don’t understand why they quit updating it. Heard they didnt like how easily people were able to do a quest and then just zip away to a safe place… If true that’s kinda lame considering flight is a thing in this game.
It would be awesome if they
A) brought it back
B) Updated it for all areas
C) made it a Toy

just went back to BFA to try myy hand at underot mount and boy i love this whistle getting me to a flight path. Please give us an upgrade even if i have to do a quest chain to make it work everywhere and make it a toy.
I missed a few expansions in this area.
Why would Blizzard do this? We have flying so many places … it seems to me the common thread is Pathfinder was nasty in BFA and WoD and Legion. Was this the substitute for Pathfinder and delaying the flight we all expect now?
I hope it comes back, and for War Within instead of a FP mount it’s a Nerubian that just ziplines down and carries you off.
Not really sure I understand the point. Flying in DF is unlocked pretty early in the campaign on your first character. And it’s immediately available on alts. In what scenario would this be actually useful?
It was an attempt to offset player anger over the loss of (or extreme delay of) flight.
It started in WoD or Legion, but I can’t remember which… because I didn’t play those expansions during their time (due to the changes in flight).

Instantaneous teleports are always useful, do you not use hearthstones?
