Flight Master's Whistle should work everywhere

I find myself trying to use it all the time when in the old world.
This would be an amazing tool to have while leveling, especially pre-flight.

It would be nice if there was a way to upgrade it to work for the old world, they already added the toys that give some flight paths to character so this seems like it should be the next logical step.

*Ofc there would need to be made a way to get one earlier for new chars, maybe add it to the toybox?

They should really give it to new characters at levle 10 or so. It really makes questing feelich better.

The old world is were you slow mount everywhere, have to cross 2 zones to get to your corpse from the nearest GY, get sent back and forth across massive zones to kill 10 boars, then go back and kill bigger boars, oh wait just one more time and go back to kill the biggest boar.

Yeah anything to ease that pain would be great, flight whistle is an awesome idea.

Flight Master Whistle spoiled me. I hate not having it on low levels.

I recently gave SWTOR another shot and was quite surprised when I learned that level 1s could teleport to any flightpoint in the zone on a cooldown.

Totally agree, even if it were on a longer cooldown. I always start looking for it on my levelling toons and then go “oh riiiight.”

I can fly outside current content, but It would be a nice thing to have for lower level alts. Esp. if the reported increased leveling speed makes it actually something I"ll be doing after they patch it in.

Still miss playing with my friends who have only one main toon and used to run through dungeons with me to help me level my latest alt for a bit.

Seems they sold me scaling with some story about being able to play with friends of different levels, except I can’t if I also want leveling experience.

I feel like it would be a huge QoL improvement for the leveling experience for 1-70 and even see a lot of use from 70+
Sometimes you just wanna get back to a FP quick so you can take a flight to where you need to be next.

Yes, it would definitely inspire me to spend a little time leveling alts.

Add it as a toy would be the simplest way of getting it to alts.

Or just give it as a quest reward for that delivery quest. Each race starting experience usually has a quest that asks you to talk to X flight master, take a flight to that races Capitol city, deliver some item to someone, and then take a flight back. Add it as an award for that quest since in itself that quest isnt worth much. Have it work from that moment on.

You can remove the CD on quick travel. Costs a bit of credits to do though

Honestly, I’d stomp the thing to dust and light said dust on fire if it meant we got actual flight and zones developed as such, but that’s not going to happen at this point. If the flight whistle is the “compensation” for Pathfinder, then I’ll take more of it.

I love my flight master whistle. I used it in Legion areas after I had flying. I often take the taxi service and do other stuff while travelling…and then I looked that the statistic that said I’ve spent over 14K G on travel in the last 4 years :cry:(nope, haven’t played since chocolate - er vanilla) But I’ll keep using the flight whistle/taxi service anyway and fly if I want to if I can. Choice is good.

Yea it should, it would be a good quality of life change.

Did you know that you cannot mount until you are level 20? From 1 to 19 the fastest you can go is run speed.

Eventually (don’t remember what year) Blizzard added a mount that max-level players could get, and all their alts could use from level 1. So you can mount at level 1, if you are an alt. That is a huge QOL improvement.

The whistle is an “instant teleport, every 5 minutes”. In my opinion that is way too strong to give a level 15 or 50.
