I’d love it if my Druid flight forms could perch on the edge of things or at the very least land on their feet.

Same goes with mounts, at one point in time, the mount from Ruk (world boss) could stand on the ground but they they patched it so that it only hovers just above the ground like all other mounts

That’s another perk of Zandalari druid. Their flight form doesn’t hover on land.
I’m not sure about all the glyph forms, but you should be able to perch if you /sit unless you’re a bat.

If you use the sit keybind you can land and perch on all kinds of things. Any place your character can sit you can perch

That is the macro you use as a bird to get the full immersion of being a bird in Warcraft.
If you want extra credit, follow anyone that flies within render distance of you and keep following them til Tuesday reset.

What, really? The cenarion hippogryph used to hover then they patched it to run and I haven’t used it since, I was disappointed when I logged onto classic to see it running there as well, as I remember it was changed either late wotlk or as late as mop.
I thought this was going to be another “purch” thread… I like the idea of perching. But don’t they do it already when they land? Just a little confused with the the difference between their forms standing and perching.
They just hover flapping their wings unless you type /sit

What’s weird is the Zandalari Trolls flight form already auto stands on t he ground but the others don’t
Get close to the ground in FF and press X and your bird will land. Not sure about Troll bats.
