It feels bad that druids are unable to use flight form in an expansion. It feels like I cannot fully play my class. It may be just me but it would be nice if I could use every spell in my toolkit.

I would like a new dragon riding flight form to be added at some point. Could be a quest similar to the class mounts in Legion. We could shift into a form that has dragon riding capabilities

Yes. 1000% yes. Druids not only didn’t have the opportunity to use their class mounts in instances, but now we don’t get them at all. I mean no one is using their class mounts at this point with dragon riding, but druids could have a cool owl dragon form that they could learn through a quest line allowing us to shapeshift into a this new form and act like a sandstone drake with dragon riding abilities.

Sidetracking, with all the recent Snail mounts, it would be nice to have a Druid ground traveling fiery hot rod speedy Snail form!

This post is weird.
You should learn some reading comprehension, but since I know you’re not gonna bother to pay attention, I’ll spell it out for you, They’re asking for a flight form similar to the dragon mounts that druids can shift into. So it would be just like a dragon mount, just like the previous druid flight form was just like a flying mount.
WHHHHHHAT!? Still don’t understand, the new druid flight form would move at the same speed as a dragon mount, just like the old druid flight form moved at the same speed as a regular flying mount based on training level.
See, it really wasn’t hard.
I mentioned this the other day in game and the frickin’ chat went batjustbleepitout crazy over the idea saying it would ruin the game and that druids already have to much I was like, WTF are you even on about.

I have a pickle with this, why Druids have the option to use all forms on any given spec & us Shamans, only one form (ground traveling) is allowed to a specific spec or have I missed the memo & shamans can used all forms in one spec?

Druids can’t use flight form for the same reason every other class can’t use flying mounts yet. Its pretty simple.
You don’t get special treatment.

How would that even work? Does flight from travel at dragon speeds as a constant? If so, that’s already broken.
Does it have to soar, dive and barrel roll to gain speeds or climb in altitude like dragon riding does? If so, does my flight form Simply work with the dragon riding tree/spells/UI? Or do I now have to add even more spells to my action bar.
Will it still be insta cast?
Most importantly…. Will my flight form still be able to hover in one spot while I go afk like it currently does?
My guess is no.
You put about 2 seconds of thought into this stupid idea and didn’t even once take into account how impractical and pointless it is.
Maybe if you put more effort into thinking things through and less time trying to be a smart aleck you could avoid these embarrassing moments.
Yeah. It’s a class defining feature. I expect the regular pathfinder to become unlockable eventually but I think we’ll be waiting at least a year for it to be introduced. That seems to be the standard timeline anyways.
I’m fine with it. They did a decent job with the GW2 clone, I’ll happily wait an expansion for them to make dragonriding as an option for all flying mounts. if anything when I go to the old zones I’m just disappointed that I have to use that boring old world flying rather than the new engaging and fun system.
I just want my storm crow back! I worked a long hard quest chain many expansions ago to get that crow. I don’t care if he can only “hop” (hip-hop) lol I earned him I want him back!
