Whatever raid sizes are planned for the future I really hope blizzard makes the raids flex.
Especially at level 60 if all raids were flex 20-25 that would be amazing. My current guild has a lot of great people in it and lots of alts who run BFD multiple times. But we often have a couple of odd numbers here and there and have to pug (which is generally fine) but sometimes guildies will offer to pug to make things work (which works but I’d prefer for them to not have to do that).
Even a little flex would make a massive difference. And is one of the best things added to the game over the years.
Or you just make raids 10m and 25m with the latter just giving better loot… at the rate player power is scaling right now there will have to be a massive tuning on lvl 60 raids. Would be easier for them to just cut the amount of players needed to raid.
Were on a casual event server. If there’s ever a time to try something different for feedback (the whole point of the server) then now is the time. Let’s do 10/25/40 or 10/25 or scaling raids. Let the outcome decide what the majority of players decide to play.
I think, depending on power creep, it’s not going to matter by the time we start doing the lvl 50/60 raids. They may be 40 man raids but people will most likely be able to clear them with 20+ people if not fewer so I don’t think this is really an issue.
Unless you are talking about making BFD and Gnomer also 10-40 man and have the raid scale based on number of players.
Historically yes. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Blizzard tunes the 40 man raids down to 10 or 20 man this time.
I’m not for or against it. I don’t care either way. But with how SoD is currently being developed, I wouldn’t be shocked. Plus it would be a roster shock for a lot of groups. Moving from a one or two 10 man rosters, for nearly a year, into all of a sudden needing 40 people?
Those are leveling raids, have nothing to do with end game. They’ve confirmed 40 mans for sod, not speculation. If you don’t like them, be ready to quit. Sorry.
