it’s far easier to sit back and complain.
How do you determine flaunting and what is the correct usage for rare items in your mind? Should they not be used at all to prevent potential nausea?
Nobody takes your gold in the AH, you choose to spend it or you don’t. A lot of the gold I have came from just playing the game and not wasting it on what I consider to be overpriced items. I don’t encounter people “bragging about” how much gold they have either.
Back in the olden IRL days, the peasants actually did something about it when the wealth disparity got to be too much. Crack open a history book and get to reading if you need some ideas and inspiration.
Otherwise, back to work peasant! That work isn’t going to do itself.

When I idle on my brutosaur in oribos it’s not that I’m flaunting. I’m literally just saving everyone a trip to their capital city.
I get thank emotes constantly. Some people actually try to pay me gold in thanks for standing around. (I always decline and say, “Thank you but keep your gold.”)

The people who do it are not even that rich, trust me the real billionaires of WOW would never be here making those stupid posts. These people just make few millions of gold and they think they are a big shot, they are not.
Gold takes time to earn, as you know. The people who are out there either put in the effort, or fast tracked themselves through WoW Token selling. Depending on your disposable income, in-game time might be the better route.
Google “how to make gold WoW SL” and you’ll see several YouTube videos, at least 3 or 4 of which are very recent. Essentially they all say the same thing, because no one is re-inventing the wheel on how to make gold. There are ways to do it, and everyone does those methods.
It’s a game. Who cares what someone else is doing. Everything someone else has, you can also have it. Time, and effort are all it takes.
I can’t help you with envy or jealously. Those are something you need to process and manage. But as for getting in-game wealth… go out there and earn it. Watch some videos, make a plan, and start today.
