There’s a reason people flocked to anni and left era, it’s because gdkps are banned.
What exactly is the “damned if you don’t” if other people are running gdkps and you aren’t, are you suggesting the historic inflation on fresh realms would be even more worse?
Damned if you do - if you join gdkps you are supporting rmt. Giving them clean gold or helping them carry.
Damned if you don’t - if you don’t join them, you get left behind. 5000g an hour becomes the gold value of everything. If you don’t join these gdkps you fall behind as you aren’t taking in rmt gold.
It’s one of the reasons blizzard gave for the ban. It’s why servers slowly start to be overrun by gdkps as the people not doing them miss out on rmt gold.

another lets unban gdkp’s so we can further just buy gold and drive prices up.
They fail to forget classic flasks prices were at 300g, with 10x less population on the server.
If gdkps were in flasks would be 3000g right now

No, it’s forcing players to create alts to join these runs otherwise they fall behind even if they don’t want to. It’s forcing people to leave their guilds on their mains if they don’t have enough time for alts.

I think they should add random side effects to flasks so it is not so dependable, like
Loose Teeth : Overuse of performance enhancers has caused all your teeth to be loose, -25% Crit chance
Nobby Growths : You have broken out in a series of gnobby growths, not unlike bitter melon and are horrible to look at -50% to threat
Gaping Stance : Increases physical damage taken by 15%, movement speed reduced by 50% after taking damage
You get the idea.

Just ban boosting and it cuts the main gold supply off from gold sellers. However, at this point, the economy is done for a good bit.

Thats how I make mine as well, but thats the main source for gold sellers without having to use hacking software. This worked to cut the amount down A LOT on SOM when they made that change.
The anti boosting changes they already implemented in tbc on did nothing to stop boosting and made it so dungeons with a big level gap like uldaman don’t give xp to anyone. If they did the “if you have someone too high in the group the mobs don’t give xp” the boosts from 50-60 would still exist and wouldn’t solve anything. If they did the stun/immunity to slow debuff after 1m it would kill the #1 way legitimate players make gold and would increase rmt.
