Flasks +10%

Every week they go up a little more… It’s almost as if there’s a shortage of some major component that all flasks share!

well there is more than 1 i can think of 3 right away blood sweat and tears

They’ve been getting cheaper for me?

I don’t see how that would be possible. Every tuesday they add 10g to them. Normally they would go back down on wednesday. Not anymore, those prices are just sticking now.

When you buy gold, everything is cheap.

Flask prices will go up until later phases when blizz adds in more mana thistle (the isle) and flasks from the marks. sadly they arent going to patch p1 pricing

They are about double the price of tbc classic.

Buy flask on Saturday. Really buy any consumes Saturday. While not a perfect science. Thats what I have noticed as best value so far in tbc. I wrote down prices daily for 2 weeks to track on the pve server.

Its what i do as a potion master.

I try to buy netherbloom when it dips to like 3.8g-4.2g/ea

Netherbloom is currently 6.48g/ea on NS horde, which is insane.

Ive not seen a mana thistle once yet, seems like the only profession that works is skinning

Yes. I called this out in another thread. There’s a shortage of Netherbloom.

Large Prismatic Shards too, they were like 12g near expansion launch. Few days ago they were 16g and now they’re 18g each

Maybe it’s because fewer people are running dungeons and there’s less blues being disenchanted, just bought 6 cost me like 110g for what’s usually 72g

Yeah prismatic shards disappear over the expansion cause people stop doing content that drops em. That’s why Blizzard gave us void shatter later in the expac.

It’s probably wise to buy them up early in the expansion for future use.

It’s almost like a handful of gold sellers and botters control the whole economy on megaservers. It’s almost like Blizz intentionally made it easier for gold sellers and botters to set prices for players by making megaservers.

Flasks have been being sold at less than the cost of mats for pretty much the whole expansion, probably because people are making flasks to get discoveries.

Their prices rising is a correction to match the market for herbs.

No, it’s because procs make the actual cost of flask creation less than cost of materials.

Yuuuup. Even if the price of the mats is more than the cost you just need some procs to make it worth it, and if you do it at a large enough scale you’ll be fine.

If I could actually discover my freaking flask I’d be crafting em, selling what I bought, and keeping the procs for my own use as a cheap way to maintain flasks.

On DS, the majority of the time, it’s still a loss to craft flasks unless you get lucky and get more than average procs.

Idk, i just bought a flask of Distilled Wisdom for 10 g less than last week, the average price i bought it this expansion is 49 gold, 44 silver.

It went down for me, which are the ones getting higher?

Can confirm this, i been raid logging for almost a month now so i barely touched dungeons except the ones for Attunements. So no blue drops, no DE, no shards.

I haven’t tried to flip flasks yet but I’ve been seeing blinding light (only good one I can craft) be like an 8-12g craft loss. You only need a few procs to be in the break even territory.

Plus, the real play is to buy up mats when they are cheap and relist when the consumable goes back up.
