The player base is a fraction of what it once was, and is fractured further by Classic Era, SoD, SoM, Hardcore. Many more would tell ya the game is dead than would tell you the game is uh ‘thriving’. Literally millions more people would tell you the game is dead 
Look at all the poor decisions with TWW alone, and it hasn’t even been a month lol. The bad taste in mouth decisions. The low effort decisions. Let alone DF and SL.
4k flasks in the first week of raiding is just laughable to me. Doesn’t really compare to the other death by 1000 cuts.
