For the [Flask of the North], it is currently bugged for druids (unable to confirm if this happens for other classes too). It is supposed to offer one of the three following:
1.) 47 Spell Power
2.) 80 Attack Power
3.) 40 Strength
When used in bear form or cat form, it will only give spell power or strength. It never gives attack power, even though 40 strength is equal to 80 attack power.
it is still happening to me on wowtlk classic
same for me; on my feral cat druid (Katzup-Mankrik) it shows +47 Spell Power instead of strength or attack power.
The flask does work however you can not be shapeshifted when you put it on, if you are in normal form it will provide the str or AP instead of spellpower.
I can confirm that even in my elf form I do not get any AP bonus. It only alternates between sp and str. So there has to be something wrong.
It was more important to remove a mount than fixing bugs like this…
