Arcane mages, what flask you using?
So the two options I have are standing still (which doesn’t happen often, or being far away from other players (which some mechanics won’t let you do), anyone using the corrupted stuff? Maybe I should just go with some versatility?
Corrupted can be the best on sims, but I would avoid using it in high end content due to the damage it does to yourself. We are already super squishy, and the damage is not dispelable by any means, not even ice block.
I’d stick with Caos or versa

Stick with Chaos, at the very least.
Corrupted flask is the “better” one, but the damage that it does to you… doesn’t seem to meld well with particular encounters. We are squishy, and that flask can just turn us into puddles instead at the wrong times.

I would echo what others have said, just stick with the chaos one. Flasks in general are not as impactful this expansion as they have been in the past. They tried to be cute with the flask effects as part of the professions overhaul but it didn’t work out (just like the professions overhaul itself, lol).

This is just rank speculation on my part but my gut reaction to the DF phial effects is that they are a test bed for potential future talents.
E.g., Static Empowerment feels like something that could potentially replace IF/Rune. Not saying that would be good necessarily, that’s just my gut reaction to it.
Or maybe like you said they are just trying to be cute. I’m just spitballing.

Oh god, I hope not. The whole notion of a buff that rotates is just silly to me. I don’t understand why they insist on pushing it. But then I never understood why they keep forcing RoP on us either…
