Flashing Square overlaid over the side of my screen?

Hello. This morning when I logged into WoW, I noticed a black square that is only there when I play WoW. It is a 2inX2in square on the left side of my screen, that turns white when I left-click when in the game, and only for that specific input.

It doesn’t appear when I play WoW, and screen-capping doesn’t get my cursor to show, but my cursor DOES appear over this horrible mystery box.

Scanning and Repair did not solve this issue.

Some of my action-bar buttons are obscured by this, and I’m not sure what to do.

Sounds like an overlay from another app. Maybe your GPU driver, sound driver, or a peripheral is causing it.

Yep! Updated the Geforce Experience monitoring app to keep an eye on my PC temp, and one of the options turned on a ‘Reflex Flash Overlay’. Found that and turned it off.
