any use having this on my bar? i feel like spamming holy light is was better.
I spam it out of combat while the tank is writing their PhD dissertation on the theory of how they will do the next pull…
Otherwise… yeah… Flash of Light and Holy Light both have been slowly moving their way down the list of my keybinds to the less easy to hit ones as other things take a more vital focus.
I’ve gone whole dungeons without using either.

I use it mostly when infusion of light procs and then as a quick filler spell when waiting for cds.

Flash of light is pretty trash and it hardly ever procs now.
Flash of light is 112% spell power healing / second casting and Holy light is 104%. For that extra 8% spell power/sec you’re paying almost twice as much mana/sec
So yeah flash of light is absolute trash outside of very niche moments.

i had someone mention this to me last night. i had no idea what they meant by this.
With infusion of lights proc and it being a fast heal already you can use it while cooldowns like crusader strike and holy shock are being refreshed so you don’t have to clip into them, and are still getting a heal off, even if it is a minor one.
To be fair how often are you running out of mana in dungeons?
I think of all the healers I’ve played I sit pretty at 40k mana with Holy almost always.
spam light of the martyr does more at this point
I only use it on the tank while I have infusion up, I don’t have holy shock or crusader strike available, and I need one more hp for WoG. So, pretty rarely.
At least it’s kind of useful as a backup holy power generator. With the glimmer build it feels like I’m wasting time hardcasting holy light.
