Seriously!! as a WQ god Activision is such a trash company. As that being said I will stay play because I am addicted and I can not stop playing. Thank you for listening to me while I rage at Flappy Bird
I mean, it’s just a small reference, at least they didn’t make a reference to a trash-tier game like Apex Legends… (holds my breath as to not give them ideas)
What is this about?
There’s a Bastion world quest which is basically flappy bird. As a homage, it’s pretty good. As a world quest, its absolutely terrible. Take the turtle world quest you disliked the most, and its about twice as awful as that.
This bugged out for me and I had to relog to get it to work.
And wtf is flappy bird?
ummm…
wasn’t there a similar thing in cata/hyjal?
…with the jousting bird daily?
or is that different?
i don’t know flappy bird… i’m a grown up
I didn’t dislike any of the Tortollan world quests from BfA, I guess that I am easily amused.
yeah looks kind of similar to the hyjal daily… but no pipes were involved
there are references to other games dotted all throughout the game.
not sure why this particular one is rage worthy.
“There’s a zombie on your lawn…”
“Sunflower!”
Oh if you were around when Daikatana was released…
I feel bad for talking smack about the turtles after doing these quests
I would 100% rather kill or save 1000 turtles then do these bogus quests
Worse than Beachhead? Doesn’t sound possible.
WoW simply isn’t fit for emulating this type of game. The controls feel really sluggish.
someone, somewhere, will inevitably find something to whine about… this is the nature of the WoW playerbase… (and speaking of zombies on your lawn… that quest pissed me off so much when it was still current content, I just blew it off for years. Now, as of about 3 months ago, I finally went back and refused to leave until I had secured my little psychotic singing flower pet and now I am happy as a clam lol)
OMG I completely forgot about the zombie thing. Grats on getting that pet finally, haha.
the only time I didn’t like that quest was when I happened to log in and try to do it when the sun was right on the horizon, as that made it a real headache for me to complete. other than that, I’ve actually quite enjoyed the Tortollan quests, especially the memory one, as that was the very first “board game” I got as a kid and I played the hell out of that game
Romero hubris. I remember it well and I was an avid old Doom fan
