So, I have been having problems with my evoker builds. I am not the best player, and I do not do much damage with playing scalecommander but when I tried the build everyone says sucks, I am rocking it on mythic dungeons. At least I am compared to playing scalecommader (because even with help I screw something up on the rotation.) Trying to figure out what people are saying is wrong with the flameshaper/firestorm build. Did they change something about it?

This is my build for mythic dungeons. My DPS is roughly 1.35 to 2.30 mil dps depending on which dungeon I am running.
What I am getting at is, I have a had a few groups that don’t care what you play but I have had a few that tells me that I am not playing the optimal and then get kicked before even starting the dungeon. I would think if my DPS is decent what does it matter what I play.
Ive only ran up to +10s over the last few seasons and not one person has ever told me I’m playing the my specs wrong.
Play whatever you want if you see success with it, if you go to the evoker discord there’s talk that flameshaper and firestorm is currently outperforming scalecommander in m+.

Thanks I didn’t realize the was an evoker discord. I’ll look in to that
I wouldn’t recommend Feed the Flames and its precursor, Imminent Destruction. The reason for this is because of the minimal, or near lack of single target value those talents bring. Bosses in m+ are important, and a strong single target profile is heavy value added.
I instead use Scintillation and its precursor Azure Celerity. It’s I think about a 15% boost in single target.
If you’re in a dungeon with council type cleave bosses, then maybe. But in general, I think not having Scintillation feels really bad when lust comes out on a boss.
On a side note, I’m loving that Flameshaper scales so well with haste now. PI and lust are feeling wonderful. I used to play Enhance and I missed that feeling lol.
