What’s the most efficient way of farming this currency? I have 2 more vendors to buy out, but it feels the best way is to just do the weeklies then farm the cave rares.
Anyone know of better ways?
Transfer them all from your alts that collected them doing the ring upgrade quests

I’ve only been taking one alt through the Siren Isle, not really interested in playing most of my alts outside of professions this expansion.
Quests only give 100 FBI after first completion, too. Each cave rare gives the same amount so not sure which route is better.

I am swimming in the stuff just trying to get my Alts their rings upgraded, and casually doing what not.
Sometimes I drunkenly run around following the roving bands doing the 3 pit events as they pop up.
I guess it depends on the scale of farming you are looking to do. I got more than I want but I don’t really want them.
Depends on if you mean the quickest in terms of rushing the grind or the least amount of play time to get everything.
Alts work best for minimum time. Grinding till you get your 500 epic drop would be best otherwise I think.
Just do the mini boss things early in the week when everyone’s doing stuff

Yeah I randomly got a purple Item and was like, hey what’s this….? Opened it up and it was a ton of the flame blessed iron.
I didn’t know about it or care much about it. I wasn’t hunting it. But it was a thing that dropped. I don’t even recall which character I was on or what I was doing at the time.

I got a few of them AoE grinding the mount early on. I feel like they are daily but I am honestly unsure of that…
They have 500 Iron inside I cant link wowhead but care called [Overflowing Bag of Iron]

Please, for the love of god, do not try to farm those overflowing bags. The drop rate is low enough that you will quit wow before you get enough to make it worthwhile.
Just swimming around the island scooping up all the underwater treasure chests will get you a decent amount for no effort.

Personally, I think the most efficient way is just farming the event rares when they pop up, assuming you’re on a server where they are popping reasonably frequently. Your first kill of each daily nets 180 or so and the rest net 90.

Do the dailies on all your alts and then transfer them to your main character.
Killing the 3 boss events per week give 180+ iron for the first kill, each.
90 something for each kill afterwards.
Runic chests hidded around the zone can give around 40-50. You will see white wisps of smoke/air moving towards an area when any player moves close to it. Indicating its direction.
Basic rares give 20-50 each. Its range is large. Sometimes it doesnt feel worth it.
First completion of every quest on Sirens Isle in both the normal and storm version give 200 iron upon completion.
Every additional completion on every/any alt character will give 100 per completion.
There are also 2 lootable treasures (fixed locations, for every alt character. Once per.) That reward an item that hands in for 150 iron. Take all your 80s out there for both!
Personally, I setup rotations of almost quests on Sirens Isle on 6-10 alts each week. Earning around 1,300-1-500iron per character.

They are not daily, I’m not even sure if I’ve ever gotten one.
