Was trying to transfer some Flame-Blessed Iron to my new level 80 character to use and buy some catch up gear. After confirming transfer, my new 80 did not receive the currency. Unfortunately, my other character is now missing that currency.

Same for me as well. Went to transfer ore, its gone from the original character, shows it transferred in the log but I do not have it on the character I transferred to.

I, too, had this problem just before downtime today on Feb. 26th. Transferred around 7,000 Flame Blessed Iron from Zylent to an alt. The currency has been removed from Zylents currency and nothing shows up on the alt I transferred it to.
UPDATE!
The GM responded to my ticket saying, “The transfer didn’t work because our database shows your character Zylent on the Velen realm was deleted long ago in a character transfer.”
…
Can’t make this up.
UPDATE 2:
I got lucky and a really chill GM messaged me in game. We finally figured out why they thought my character was deleted. I had transferred them from one account to another long ago and for some reason they didn’t think to look at my other accounts for the character.
That aside I told them what happened and from their responses it seems they could see something wrong on their back end of why things didn’t work and they were able to restore my currency.
A rare happy ending to a GM ticket.

same issue here moved 6k and its now gone. cs tells you to post here and theres already month old posts reporting the same issue. nothings gonna happen theyll just add these new systems and break the game with no consequence

I just logged in to find two messages from Thaumaturge Vashreen who found my missing currency and it has been restored.

Same I just lost all the Flame-Blessed Iron I just transfer.
Had the same problem but got the Flame-Blessed Iron in my mail as lost currency. Check your mail.
