Flails crashing warbands screen

I was driving myself nuts for a while. Everytime I kept logging in the game would crash once it hit the warbands screen. I uninstalled,reinstalled, and nope. Nothing. Finally reset all my settings from the launcher, and it worked! Then when you move your settings back to where you had them, when you launch again: Crash.

After struggling back and forth with resetting, changing my settings back up when playing, I got frustrated and started playing with stuff and realized if I used my warbands screen, it crashed. If I took everyone out, it didn’t.

So hey I found what was mostly causing the issue right? Well…no but yes. After some searching https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/solution-to-exception-accessviolation-the-memory-could-not-be-read/530013 comes up.

I remove my MT flail and what happens? No crash. Seriously.

Blizz please fix. I want to use the transmog I earned and love.

Legit happening to me too. I kept getting access violations every time I get to my character select screen and crashing the game for me. I read up on the threads here, tried out in a second account, loads up fine, only on the main account where my paladin with the mage tower flail appearance am I having the issue. I’m still trying to find a way to be able to remove it from my warband without my game crashing so I can change the appearance, but seriously, please fix this issue, it’s insane.

Happening with the warrior MT flail as well. Had to remog my warr once I figured out how to bypass the crit error and get logged in. My pally still has it mogged and active but isn’t on the 4 favorites around the campfire so it seems to just be if its on the favorites list.
