Flag of Ownership

GD is slowly trying to infect the arena/bg forums.

No, I love my flag and plant it on faces whenever I can.

Oh… and the teabag move… Epic, I laugh when I am on the receiving end, and laugh more when I am providing the bag on the face. Best move in the game.

Ever try war mode off?

So do I because although it happens rarely, it feels like they’re using my own move against me, LOL.

Flag of ownership is fine. At least it happens after the battle. Glad /spit was removed, but I wish we just removed all emotes in battlegrounds altogether. All it does is clog up the chat feed. Plus the emote spams don’t start until they’re dying.

i don’t understand why an emote is such an issue.

Makes it harder to effectively communicate with the team when your chat feed is filled up with emote spamming. I don’t like it when enemies do it and I don’t like it when my teammates do it.

right click the general chat box and select settings:

then second from the top, uncheck the emotes option:

I know that, but the 9-39 randos that I play with do not.

You know these forums are public right ? You and the few agreeing with you are completely clueless about this tbagging. Let’s hope for your sake, it remains that way. Let’s also hope you never have kids. For their sake.

it’s not hard, you just repeatedly press the sit button when over someone you just killed.

Oh I know all about t-bagging. In fact I have a patented version of it called the Snow-bag…

This has a heavier droop and swing. I also go down slow so my victim gets that full sense of impending doom.

The move is especially effective against rogues.

Emotes have never gotten in the way of chat or affected me in the least.

Funny how you think tea bagging and flags is rude yet you go on to insult Snowcrest by saying you hope he never has kids, hypocritical much?

they are rude, intentionally so, but as a sort of taunt. the thing to understand about trash talk is that is is supposed to bother you and get under your skin. this is why so much attention is put on mental focus for people in competive sports, they are specifically trained to deal with trash talk because it does work. a tilted player is a dead player. i press X a few times and suddenly the top asset on the other team is no longer playing with his team but instead chasing me around seeing red. this lets my team defeat his team. this isn’t just a wow thing either, this is done in all levels of human competition. your emotional state affects your performance, the battle between you and your opponent over each other’s mental states is itself a meta-game going on transparently above the actual game.

It is it can also like you mentioned make players forget about objectives and chase you all over the map.

Yup. One of my old friends worked as a prison guard and when she was training she explained to me that the instructor would intentionally trash talk the students as a form of psychological training.
