Fizzle/GCD Error Sounds

So I’ve read some solutions but they dont seem to be working anymore

I can’t figure out how to remove those incredibly obnoxious fizzeling error sounds that happen when you spam a skill buttom/interrupt a cast/try to cast while moving/etc

I’ve tried going to \World of Warcraft\Sound\Spells\Fizzle and create 0-bytes sound files but they still happen in-game

Error Sounds be Gone used to work way back in the day, but it doesnt anymore either

This is not the error speach sound that you can turn off in-game by the way

So how do you this

8.1 created a new folder in your WoW folder called retail.

Instead of creating the 0-byte sound file in the path you listed, try creating the sound file in:
\World of Warcraft_retail_\Sound\Spells\Fizzle

Yes, thank you Takamura! Blizz really just needs to make this a setting you can turn on/off from the interface…it’s the most incredibly annoying sound!!! (next to the Murlocs)
